This year, the second Tehran Game Expo & Festival is held in June 26th – 30th 2012 in Mosalla Imam Khomeini, Tehran.
Reported by the information committee of this exhibition, the goals of the second Tehran Game Expo & Festival are as follows:
Promoting the cultural basics and Islamic Iranian identity via this industry with the special glance at children and the adolescents
Recognizing and supporting the available talents and capacities of this industry in the country with the approach of localizing and reinforcing the domestic productions
Creating the cultural, technical, scientific and artistic competition environment among the active individuals in the game industry in order to promote and develop this industry qualitatively and quantitatively
Predisposing in order to promote the students' creativities in the game and entertainment industry
The second exhibition is held in 8 sections as: productions, technologies, family, game & entertainment, student, professional workshops, competitions and the world without computer games.
Last year, about 60 participants registered to the exhibition contained game developers, distributers, sellers, professional publications and so on. They represent their latest achievements in the computer game arena in the previous expo.
This exhibition hosted the representatives of some foreign countries too. The countries as: Germany, Malaysia, Japan, Lebanon, Bulgaria, UAE and so on.
People so warmly welcomed the exhibition so that about 1000,000 persons visited the first Tehran Game Expo & Festival. Considering the fact that it was the first time that such exhibition was being held in Tehran, the number of visitors is so impressive.
It is worth mentioning that, the second Tehran Game Expo & Festival is held in June 26th – 30th 2012 in Mosalla Imam Khomeini, Tehran.
