The professional designers of website CGart.ir behalf of Iranian designers took part in SIGGRAFH Asia 2011, Hong Kong with the support of Iran National Foundation of Computer Games.
Reported by the deputy of communications and the international affairs of Iran National Foundation of Computer Games; Amir Hossein Erfani, manager of CGart.ir said about the presence in this exhibition: "this site as one of the most famous and professional sites in the case of digital art, participated in SIGGRAPG Asia 2011 held in Dec, 12th – 15th in Hong Kong and introduced the capabilities and achievements of the country by presenting the best works of animation industry, computer games and the special effects".
Also the pavilion of Iran was warmly welcomed by the active professionals in this industry as directors, art directors, producers, technical managers, artists and students in its first present in this exhibition.
SIGGRSPH held in US and Canada is one of the most famous professional expos in the case of PC graphic and it is a good place for presenting the latest technologies and innovations in this area. This expo is held in Asia since 2008 as SIGGRSPH Asia.
This year some famous participants were as San Francisco Academy of Arts, Pixar Animation Co, Lucasfilm Singapore filmmaking Co, Chaos Group (producer of Vray render engine, SCAD University and Pixomondo Co.
This expo is held in one of the Asian countries every year and Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong are the main hosts of this event.
